Monitoring & Evaluating

For each project, Wood Street Walls carries out extensive pre-checks, in project evaluations and post implementation reviews to ensure continuous improvement for the way we run our projects.

1. Planning

Every project is allocated a project code and relevant folder on the Wood Street Walls shared drive.

The project folder contains items contains templates for Method Statement and Risk Assessment, to be completed by the project lead and validated by the designated site lead (where applicable).

Please see here for the standard project checklist, that covers all items required to paint a public facing mural.

Each project is allocated a project manager and a site lead, to help facilitate communication between the site and client.

Please see the Risk Management section for further information.

The first invoice is raised to cover any mobilisation costs (normally 50% of project fee).

2. Execution

During the execution daily updates at the beginning and the end of each day are provided in person or verbally via phone to ensure any new risks, issues or new items are tracked (i.e. new material, paint, additional access required etc.)

Estimated costs are validated against real spend and recorded against the projects Income statement template.

Progress photos are taken for the project and where applicable, shared on Wood Street Walls social media accounts.

3. Post-review

After the project is complete, a survey is requested to be completed by the allocated site lead and client.

The income statement is completed to review estimated and final costs.

The outstanding monies are requested by a final invoice to the client.

Social media post impact across Twitter, Instagram & Facebook is calculated and recorded against the project.
